I just put the set on my bed today, but I can’t find any reason not to rate it 5 stars. Shipping was fast for the Thanksgiving weekend, and the product was in a normal bed-in-a-bag container. The colors in the product picture are almost completely true. The darkest parts of the comforter and pillows, and the edges of the shams and the bed skirt are a bit lighter than the dark brown shown, but shouldn’t be dramatic enough to throw off anyone’s room design. The cream color is also slightly whiter than shown, but not by much.

The material of all the pieces is a soft fabric, and not the sheer or plastic-y type on some comforters. The comforter is fairly thick too, and will hold heat really well. It won’t eliminate the need for a blanket on a cold night, but it should keep you plenty warm most of the year. Also, for anyone paying attention to the ‘bought with’ and ‘recommended buys’ sections, don’t buy the Renaissance collection 600TC sheets in ‘Cafe’ for this bed. It won’t match at all. If you do want those sheets with this bed, get the darkest or lightest colors available to go with this bed set.

Overall, great set, great price.

I love they way down comforters look on a bed but I’m allergic to down/feathers so I thought I’d never be able to own one. This is a wonderful, high quality comforter that is as warm and cozy as anything with feathers. It’s also easier and less expensive to keep clean–I’ve washed it several times and its never lost its shape. Great value and a great product.

This frog humidifier is wonderful. I’m so glad I finally decided to get one after reading reviews on it since last winter. Unlike this picture, the actual product is a true Granny Smith apple green, or some might call it lime green.

PROS
-quiet
-no expensive filter required. (my Holmes humidifier requires a new $13 filter about every 6 weeks)
-shuts off automatically when it runs out of water
-easy to refil water
-simple and easy to use
-cute!

CONS
-tiny green light is on when humidifier is in use and I persoanlly like a very dark bedroom at night. I just tape a dark piece of paper over it and problem solved. But it can also be a night light for a child’s room.
-must be on a nightstand or some sort of elevated surface. Some people might not have that room to spare.
-it may be TOO cute and irresitible for little ones to keep their hands off it at first. But the newness wears off.
