(There is no departure tax.)
Both airports are connected by an underground network in London. The city can also be reached by taxi, available outside each terminal.
Flight to England
It takes more than 8 hours in case of travel from New York and if you leave the center of the United States, Midwest, South Atlantic, State, or the west coast.
Visiting time
The best time to visit is England during July to September when the weather is at its best and daylight hours are longer. However, it is also the time when England tourists to visit the rates are higher, the streets are more crowded and the queues are longer. Low season is from November to March. Hotels are available in abundance, especially in big cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Liverpool. However, hotels in these cities are very expensive, especially in high season. Premium is the price paid for the rooms with bathrooms.
For budget travelers, the hotels are the best solution. They are cheap, clean, convenient, comfortable and warm. The bathrooms are often shared with other guests, but the rooms are comfortable, in general.
Getting around
- Car Rental – If you travel in a group of planning and explore the countryside, then rent a car is a good choice. But, from the rental car if most of the time in the city. remember that the driver’s seat is on the right side of the vehicle.
- Bus, taxi and subway, buses, taxis and trains are the most popular ways to get around the city. London is famous for its double-decker bus. All towns and villages have bus services too. All cities have taxi services. Take the subway in London system (or what is commonly referred to as the metro) is a good experience. The suburban rail services are available in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and the cities of Newcastle and South Yorkshire. Tram lines are available in South London.
