PEDEEE
Ministry of Electricity supervising on all electrical
activities in Syrian Arab Republic, And follow to Ministry tow establishment:
1-
Public Establishment for Power Generation and Transportation (
PEEGT ) .
2-
Public Establishment of Electricity for Distribution and
Exploitation of electrical Energy ( PEDEEE ).
PEDEEE was established in 1994 by two
legislation decrees (13/14),
and its followed by (14)
general companies in each governorate
of the whole country.
PEDEEE Tasks
:
1 -Planning
for Distribution and exploitation of electrical
energy.
2 -Construction of substations( 66 /
20 ) kV, transformers (20/0.4)kV, and transmission networks
for (66-20-0.4) kV, regional dispatching centers and operation
of concrete poles factory .
3 -Maintenance
of /20/ kV section in substations (230/66/20)
kV.
4 -Moreover
this establishment is followed by (14) general
companies in each governorate of the whole country.
PEDEEE General Target:
1 -Provision
available power to present loads, and its growth and new
expected loads.
2 -Following
execution of the power generation resources
to meet future power demand.
3 -Improve the
qualification of the distribution network and
its exploitation conditions, including electrical
supply reliability.
4 -Decrease
the distribution cost and supply cost,
through decreasing the losses and illegal
consumption.
5 -The
utilization of Existing distribution lines,
substations, and execute new (66) kV lines
(66/20)
kV substations, and (20/0.4) kV
distribution transformers.
6 -Construct
information system based on modern
systems by using computers in financial, technical, and
administrative fields.
7 -
Complete
the electrification of small villages during
the present five years plan.
8 -Improve
levels of consumer service.
9 -
requalification of employees in
establishment and companies of PEDEEE.
10 -Improve
Management processes and qualifications of administrative and
employees.
