Sulumits Retsambew : When you have prepared your luggage, confirmed hotel reservations, studied your routes well, and have booked your flight. All you need to do is go to the airport and flying to England. And yes, you are happy. England for a holiday is always a dream after all. But there is a problem: the flight from New York to England, is at least 8 hours and if more comes from the Midwest or the West Coast.

Most people ignore such an important part of traveling, especially when crossing the Atlantic or Pacific. Air travel is eating a lot of your vacation if you must ensure that they remain comfortable throughout the time you spend in the airplane and how they adapt to the time in England.

Choosing a good seat on a plane:

  • If this is your first time to cross the Atlantic Ocean, could be the person who is fighting tooth and nail to get a seat in the window. It makes no sense at all, because all you see is nothing but clouds. What you need is a choice aisle seat. Once again, the flight to England could be at least 8 hours, so they want easy access to toilets.
  • If your problem is dizziness, choose a seat in the center of the aircraft or a seat to the wings.
  • Choose a seat on the emergency exits and behind walls for more legroom.
  • If you are traveling with children, choose a seat near the bathroom.
  • Concerned with the earth? Choose a seat near the exit doors.
  • If you do not rub shoulders with your seatmates, choose a seat at the rear.
  • Front seats are often the quietest aircraft, if they want peace and quiet.

Prevent jet lag:

  • A few days before your vacation, change your sleep-wake cycle gradually for the time zone of England (5 hours ahead of time Easter Time).
  • At the beginning of the plane, set your watch to local time in England. This also happens if you travel to other locations.
  • Do not sleep on the plane when it is launched in England. To stay awake, open your shades, reading a book with a light on, listening to music, cruise ships of the aircraft (if the seat belt sign is off, of course) or watch a movie if it is available.
  • Sleeping on the plane when it is night in England. To minimize noise, use earplugs or headphones. You must be adjusted to local time at the moment – all you need is to be maintained.
  • Coffee, tea and alcohol can increase dehydration. Avoid these beverages when traveling.
  • The cabin air is dry, and dehydration can aggravate the effects of jet lag. Drink plenty of water.

Gone are the days when air travel was considered a luxury. Now you have to do many things to steal the time, stay as comfortable as possible, and arrive fresh and ready to take the streets of London and England vacation experience that truly deserves
