Crete is an interesting place to go to Greece on holiday. One of the most notable and largest of many islands in the country. Located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Sea of Crete Sea of Libya. Crete is about 260 km long and 60 km wide. The island is divided into four prefectures, namely Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion and Lassithi.
